The mask card is used to take a clean and uniform sample of the paper that follows the guidelines necessary for a good comparison. The mask can be obtained in two ways:

1. Digital Download: You can download the mask as a PDF file from the link below. Print it on a standard A4 sheet using a high-quality printer to ensure accurate dimensions.
2. Hard Copy: You can order a pre-printed hard copy of the mask from Japico. This option ensures that you receive a professionally printed mask with precise dimensions.

Validation

The inner square of the black mask needs to measure exactly 50 mm x 50 mm. This can be verified using a ruler or caliper. If the dimensions are correct, the mask is ready for use.

Usage

In order to use the mask correctly, follow these steps:

1. Prepare the Sample: Ensure that the paper sample is clean and free from any contaminants that could affect the results.
2. Position the Mask: Place the mask over the area of the paper you wish to sample. Ensure that the inner square is aligned with the area of interest.
